I have a dining room table. I do believe it is oak, with eagle claw looking legs, How can I find more info?

Get down under neath it, or turn it over (better idea) so you can see what (if anything) is stamped or carved on it. There should be markings on the underside of the top and maybe even on the sides of the bottom. Quite often the undersides of the extender leaves are also marked.
