The only person I can think of off hand who was supposed to be there and was not was Sarah Ferguson, "Fergie", Prince Andrew's ex-wife. She allegedly had a meeting scheduled in one of the offices, but her taxi was slowed down because of a traffic jam.
I do not know if this answer gives the answers you are looking for. I agree that a lot of questions remain to be answered about September 11, 2001. I once asked a question on Yahoo! Answers to that effect, but it was erased because of a "No Best Answer" vote. A lot of people do not seem to like it when people ask legitimate questions about September 11, 2001, thinking that skepticism about certain incidents is a callous disregard for the people who were killed. I do not agree. Many of the victims were hard working people who were not "big takers" and were not even rich. I thought the terrorists did not like the ones who were like George W. Bush. Neither the terrorists or the government make sense to me.

I think that all the people that were suppose to be at the world trade center on 911 were the only ones that were suppose to be there and the ones that weren't there for whatever reason were not suppose to be there. It was not meant for them to be there. I believe that everything happens for a reason and when it is your time to go it is your time to go (no matter where you are or what circumstance it is) and when it isn't it isn't. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those people who lost there lives and their families and the troops that are fighting for our country, and the soldiers who lost their lives and their families as well.

My cousin who works for Morgan Stanley and is usually there @7:30 am, but had her sister lecturing her over the phone, about a dream she (the sister)had. In which my cousin was stabbed due to her quick temper. She does have a quick temper in reality, so her sister was just telling her to be careful that day. The first plane hit just as she stepped out of the subway.

Lots of people were not there that day. The guy that for some reason had to drop his kid off at a day care... Everyone that was arriving late for whatever reason... No one didn't go because they KNEW it was going to happen, common! You think all those firemen, etc., would have attempted to put out the fire had they known they were going to be buried fighting it? What are you implying?
