Yes I do, like many others before me.
Most Aisan/Ariental belief system is base on cause and result system which explain why things happen the way they do.
Eventhough sometimes we can't figure out why things happen the way they do, we do believe they happen because of other things that were done in the past to trigger the event that happen now.
Oriential belief like Buddhism , Taoism and Confucius believe that by understand the principles of nature it will help us understand why thing happen the way they do. I Ching, a great, philosophical book in China that discuss about change, also talk about understanding the nature and the principles they operate under.
Hopefully we all gain wisdom as we grow so we can be more aware of our action and the result that were triggered by our action.

I have to wonder about that little phrase every time someone says it to me! Honestly I hope there is some reason behind the heartbreak I have been feeling because if it's meaningless and random, then I am going to be very pissed. My friend says I have to go through this so I can appreciate the one who will truly love me, but sometimes I have to wonder how much longer I am going to have to wait for that person! All in all, sometimes I have faith in such sayings, but at the very moment it is said, it never seems to quite offer enough consolation... so I try not to use it myself.

I use to think that there was a reason, but now as I get older, I am not so sure.Yes every action has a reaction, so maybe everything does happen for a reason.

Yup, I believe... but It may not sometimes coz we don't know what the reasons are...
However there's a law that ppl call "reason-result" in life
