In answer, believe it or not, on one horrible afternoon, I was drawn to a narrow hallway outside all the bedroom doors, my dog was picked up and thrown, and a hand placed a silk hankerchief on my shoulder. I saw nothing, but still have the hankerchief.

That's a spooky story. I used to work overnight in a bed and breakfast that was haunted. I would smell roses when a certain ghost was around. This is so weird, because there was no one else around that could be playing tricks on me. A certain door would open during the night. Normally, this door was very squeaky, but it would sometimes be wide open, after I'd purposely close it, and I could never hear it opening. I think ghosts are probably demons, and I doubt they're harmless, but nothing bad ever happened from the ones I encountered.

Well i dont live in a haunted house but i have bee virist by here ghost but all at the same . to o was my uncle and my granny witch i never had meet because she died have here last babe .. and the other ghost was my mother was she as beauitful has she was lil i was a lil girl along time ago .......and she gave my a hug and a kiss .. were she use too kiss me on the cheek face my forehead...and be hind neck ...like when i was lil ...sooooooooooooo. there are spirits out there .. and u have guardan angel with u too some . but u dont there , there ...believe or not ......

Just what type of gift did the ghost give you?
I've not heard of that before.
I've lived in homes where there was a ghost but none ever gave me anything besides the creeps or goosebumps.

Hey! I personally know some spirits - most of them give me a real headache. There's Jack Daniels, (worst one in the bunch)
Don't know which one you're buddys with, but you need to be leery of all of them, They make you do crap you shouldn't be doing. Like driving, playing golf in a thunderstorm, urinating on your boss's car, calling your girl friend Betty and her name is Rhonda.

I'll give you 1 tip. If you ever have a mean spirit in the house, for shits sake don't threaten to burn the house down, you will get one really PISSED ghost then, I ended up destroying the house though. ( had to)

i lived in a haunted house too, yeah, not fun, never got a gift from a ghost, but they used to mess with my dreams making me not sure if i was awake or asleep, but it only happened when i was alone in the house.

great story. i believe you, i lived w/ a ghost a couple of times throughout the years. never had a gift given though, i am NOT envious though, lol. that would freak me right out! thanks for sharing.
