Finally, The Rock has come back to Yahoo Answers! When you talk about great Wrestlers it's not about titles, no-no-no. It's about what they brought to the sport, So let's go back to the Flair's, Hogan's, JYD's, Mr. Wrestling #2, Tony Atlas, Iron Sheik, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, those that worked for chump change and spent years on the road without television coverage! Those that made it possible for the Triple H's and HBK's, and the RVD's and the Jon Cena's. Let's give props to the Brett Hart's and Funk brothers, the Orton's of the past. The greatest wrestler of all time could easily be a Jake the Snake or Ricky Steamboat or Von Erich or Bockwinkel, or any of the historic wrestlers who laid the foundation for what we grimace at today. If You smellllllllllllll what The Rock is cooking!

#1 would be either Hulk Hogan or the Late Andre the Giant
#2 Brett "the hitman" Hart
#3 Goldberg
#4 John Cena
#5 The Undertaker
#6 The Rock (only because he's more about movies then combat these days)

Bret Hart, never injured an opponent, brought the best out of them, never wanted to just be a completely dominant fight to the point the matches were pointless, the undertaker and the rock are cool but they were big more cuz of charisma than actually skill I mean if you look at the rocks moves he only has a few and the same with the undertaker.

Ed "Strangler" Lewis.

He was the first world champion that understood they pro wrestling needed to be a show not just wrestling like the amatuers.

But in the modern day, I live Ric Flair, Buddy Rogers, Bob Backlund, Ricky Steamboat, Kurt Angle.

As for entertainment, Rock, Hogan, Rick Rude.

I met Ox Baker at a pizza place and ask him this very question. According to one of the best brawlers to ever wrestle, Ric Flair is the best there has ever been. Good enough for Ox good enough for me.

The limo riding , jet flying, high in the sky, kiss the girls and make them cry, Nature Boy, Ric Flair
