Hitler, hands down. He killed millions.

Quite a triumvirate of nasties, Andy. If forced to pick only one of the three, I'd pick Hitler. It's possible Stalin was responsible for more deaths than Hitler, but Stalin at least gets credit for helping to defeat Hitler. Osama is small potatoes compared to those two.

Perhaps it is too early to pass any judgements on Hitler, Stalin or even Osama .As they say in societies who cremate their dead the ashes of the former two are still warm. It is significant to note that despite all the gruesome tales of the Holocaust there is not a pillar to commemorate (or rather forget) those events in Germany. It is in distant America. In fact, the entire holocaust is being branded as a cock and bull story in recent publications. The creation of Israel with force driving out thePalestines(under the mythical talles of it being the original dwelling place of Israel) has also reduced the public sympathy for them and the stores of holocaust are no more believed as before. So far as the World War II launched by Hitler is concerned it was more the outcoeme of emergenc of Germany and frantic efforts by Britain to hold on to the sun sinking sinkin onheir empire. In Russia Stalin ,within a period of twenty years, lifted Russia from the 18th Century to the middle of the 20tj/ In fact, it was the Russian efforts which was more influential in putting down Hitler than the American intervention.Despite the politiial acrobatiiics of the later Russian politicians it is noteworthy that Stalin still holds a pride of place in the hearts of common Russians.Osama Bin Laden is a contemporary phenomenon. His real strength was not the millions he holds as a Saudi arab but the overall feeling of insult felt by the Muslims the world over . Americans are the appaent cause of this but the real cause are the Muslimsthemselves who have resused to move with the times. Ultimately it is not the American power but the internal contradictions of Islam that would be Osama's undoing. His(claimed)ction in bringing down the two American Towers is reprehensible indeed but the everything is fair in a war even if it is not a declared war We should, therefore, reserve our judgements and hand over the scales io time for proper weighment.

Stalin killed by far the most people. All three were hideously evil men, and equal in that regard. Hitler although the most notorius of the 3, killed far less than Stalin. Osama is a tactical level threat, while the other 2 were strategic. Osama is not even in their league.

HItler and Stalin may have had the reported kills. Osama is evil since those he killed were from a faceless killer and not face to face. This puts him in the front of the line as far as evil things to do. At least Hitler and Stalin had individuals look them in the eye mostly when they did their killings.

Hitler is a definite, but, over the coarse of future years Osama will move closer. The end of Hitler basically put an end to his atrocities, but, Osamas will carry on and on even after his death.

Stalin. Stalin killed millions more of his own people than Hitler killed anyone during wwII, period. But they're all bad people regardless of who was the worst of the 3.
