I love my boyfriend. I love him sooo much. I feel like I've always loved him. We've been together for almost 3 years. We always talk about getting married and our life together. And I don't know. Lately I don't feel as connected to him. He left for a week to go on a family vacation and I thought when he got back I'd be so excited and never wanna leave his side and I just don't feel that way. I'm glad he's back. My friends say I've just found some independence. What do you think?

I think it is the question "Is he the one" If you feel he may not be, then all of a sudden you will start feeling less into him as before, but if he is then you should miss him. The other thing could be, if you guys spend all your spare time together, you might just be getting a little tired of him. If so, pick up some new hobbies or something. Note: that there are always going to be dull phases in a relationship, this maybe just one of those.

Things are never the same.Things change all throughout life. You have been together awhile now and the newness has wore off.Have you ever had a new car or anything at all that you were really excited about when you first got it but then as time went by it was really no big deal ?It's the same thing. The sad thing is that if you replace him the "newness" will eventually just wear off again and you can't very well go through life replacing guy after guy. Well I guess you can if you're like that.

talk with him about it, Best part of a healthy relationship is being able to talk things out. Try some new things together, Maby something kinky...Keep things exciting and not just the same old boring routine day in and out. Suprises are a plus also.

It's normal. Don't worry about it. It is impossible to feel the same way forever. We go through cycles like you described. If, however, you feel the same way down the road, then perhaps you should take a week off and go somewhere and see how things are when you get back.

This isn't good something changed while he was gone. Independence maybe or a new guy or something whatever the case you realize it's not so bad without him. This doesn't mean you don't love him anymore.

When you get into relationships for a few years, complacency sets in and you feel like you are "getting bored" with that person....That's where if you really want it to work you have to try new things together......Hang in there dear, if it was meant to be then it will be.......
