i love Cheerleading too!
but my fave sport is Bull Ridin.... Its SOOO fun to watch.....

Crew. (a.k.a. Rowing). It's awesome. I've played soccer as a goalkeeper for upwards of 10 years, and I still enjoy that, but I was on a crew team for awhile (until I had to pull out because of a weightlifting injury) and I've never found a sport I enjoy more. Crew is rowing in those incredibly long, skinny boats with anywhere from one to eight people in them. My team practiced on a lake, and I loved it because when we were warming up, and the lake was glassy and all was quiet, all you could hear was the dip, pull, and splash of our oars. It was so completely peaceful and absorbing. Then when we would race - it was amazing. That's a sport you can throw your entire self into and work together with people and at the end know that you completed something awesome. It was a blast too because in the summer we would practice capsizing the boats and getting back in. (I accidentally capsized in winter three times - I have never fallen out of a boat and gotten back in so quickly in my life. Man that water was ICE.) But I can't wait to get back to it. It's been almost a year since my back surgery from that lifting injury, and I'll be able to go back soon. It's a sport that I plan on doing for awhile. My coach, Alfred, is 76 and he can outrow, outrun, and outlift almost everyone on the team. He's been rowing since he was in elementary school. So I know it's something I can do for the rest of my life. I love it.

And I don't follow the belief that cheerleading is a sport anymore than bowling, fishing, or anything like that.

Cheer leading isn't a sport but volleyball and softball are mine.
