Im 56 years old and just the other day I saw my mother (who is now 87) and I thought she had a nice buttox. Then when I went to see her this weekend I had an urge to go through her dresser and find her underwear. Am I becoming attracted to my mother, or do I just have a thing for older women?

The attraction you have is to the nearest phsyciatriac hospital because you need desperate help. Plus, I think this is a made up question just to get people riled. You didn't fool me. A 56 year old man would have more sense not to write such nonsense. And in conclusion, I think you need glasses. Do you really know what an 87 year old butt looks like?

First off, I feel the need to point out that you have posted this question to Yahoo Answers. So, if you are seeking serious answers to a serious question, I should warn you, there are probably not a whole lot of psych PhD's replying here, at least not while sober.
Having said that, I suppose it is entirely possible that your 87 year old mother *could* indeed have nice buttocks.

It is recommended that you seek therapy before your problem gets worse. Therapy will help you figure out where the problem is and help you fix it. The hardest thing is to pick up the phone and make your first appointment and it gets easier after that.

If you sense that your feelings for your mother are anything other than a mother/son relationship, acknowledge it and seek professional counseling.
