I enjoy compliments from this guy at work, this is the attention that I don't get from home . Am I wrong for that.

NO ITS FINE JUST DONT LET IT GO TO FAR, WE ALL NEED ATTENTION BUT NO PUNTANG ROMP IS WORTH LOOSING WHAT YOU HAVE EVEN IF LIFE IS A LITTLE STALE AT HOME. ONCE ITS GONE IT AINT COMMIN BACK . ITS EASYER TO KEEP WHT YOU HAVE RETHER THAN TRYING TO FIX WHAT IS SO EASALY DESTROYED.

Depends on what the compliments are. If you're co-worker is telling you what a great body you have or how sexy you are, well, I would say accepting compliments like that are out of line. And if that's the case, maybe you need to move on from that situation at home.

No, just make sure it doesn't go any farther. This sounds like I'm making something out of nothing, but when you long for attention that's not coming from the man you'd like it to be from (your husband), then other guys know exactly how to use this to their advantage. As far as the lack of it at home, make yourself up to draw attention, fully made up, sexy clothing, hair different. If these don't work, ask him why (your husband). Maybe he'll pick up on what's lacking in the relationship, hopefully before it's too late.

There is more to this story than just enjoying compliments. Are you attracted to this guy? Do you give compliments at home to whom ever you are referring to? I think you should communicate at home and do know that work friendships can easily turn into affairs and they are the worst to break.

Everyone enjoys a sincere compliment - but if you know the guy is just complimenting you in hopes of getting a sexual reward, you would be wrong to allow it.

My 1st question would be are you married? or are you single?
If you are single and waiting for your parents to compliment you,
you may wait forever - I did.

I have a guy next door to me in my apt. complex who pays me
compliments & we talk all the time. I see nothing wrong with a
guy you work with paying you compliments - but don't let that be
all you are looking for - it will backfire.

I never got any attention at home either. Now they are both dead.

Go for it!

It is okay to enjoy and be flattered by the compliments but that is all. Do not read any more into it and develop feelings for him. It will only be wrong if he becomes your dream and you have an affair and ruin your marriage.

No. Are you married? I think that we all want to feel good about ourselves, especially coming from others, just don't take the comments and make something out of it other than just general compliments. People with lower self esteems can sometimes run into trouble like that!
