a person asked a question about India's Supreme Court and i asked back(sorry it was a question in place of an answer)"India has a Supreme Court?" I figured it would be a different type of judicial system. Someone reported me for that and i'm confused... Can i get some input from anyone out there?

The person made a mistake and misunderstood. Maybe e-mail Yahoo and ask them to take another look at all the facts.

Some people have gotten into the habit of reporting bad questions and answers. There are so many on this site. I think you were merely mistaken for some of the actual abusers of this site. That sucks, but you have to be really careful.

According to the terms of service, your answer really WASN'T an answer. It didn't add anything to the knowledge base, you must admit. Perhaps the next time, just wait to see what answers are posted.

Yes, it was a pretty lame reason to report though, especially in light of all of the obscene and profane postings.

I do not agree with that either. I hit send on an answer and relized I answered the question but not for the catagory it was under. I hope most people are not as rotten as the person who "turned you in"

They must have misinterpreted your answer...and thought you were being disrespectful.

Maybe they thought you were hinting that they're too backwards a Country...to have a Supreme Court?

I don't think you were out of line at all. I wonder if they have one too! That person must have some real issues they need to work on. Don't worry about it, they will eventually get over it.

Errors are not legitimate reasons for reporting. If they were, most answers would be reportable. The categories are clearly enumerated.

You have my empathy. I think somebody didn't have anything better to do and was in a bad mood.
