How do we know christians are brainwashed?

If the bible said 1+1 =3 then christians would say that modern math is of the devil, now wouldnt you?

Why do i use the term branwashed.Because that is the term that fits a person that believes in something even though they are shown simple to understand contradictions that their belief system entails.

In other words christianity is bulit around a urgent need to believe, not truth or reality.Which is precisly why notions of eternal fire have to be brought into the equation to foster fear in the victims mind.

For the rest of the answerers, I think the question was directed for Christians that were brainwashed. And yes, I believe it's a legitimate question, since some Christian denominations and groups do conduct 'brainwashing techniques', commonly identified with standard indoctrination methodology in militaries and security agencies. If a question was directed at a particular group, doesn't mean he or she has a certain grudge againts them.
I for one, coming from a Roman Catholic and Christian background, believe that religion encourages some form of 'brainwashing' or the other. The mere fact that Roman Catholics baptize their children at the age of one, even before, without consent from the individual, already indicates a non-voluntary state of existence. For the Christians, their cells and support groups, although admirable, can also be a form of psychological indoctrination. Espousing to be with people of the same creed, and believing those outside will never be saved, I think is an aspect of indoctrination. Furthermore, the fact that sessions of 'speaking in tounges' involve the same syllables coming out of prophetic-induced indviduals, does not exactly bring confidence in regards to legitimacy and reality.

By reading and knowing the Bible. If you actually read the Bible you can tell which Christians are brainwashed... any who hate or oppose a ceratain group are making a mockery of Jesus Christ's name.

A free thinking Christian helps those who do not believe, because this is what Jesus taught: To love one another and to be understanding.

In fact if you read below you can probably see exactly what I mean. As a Christian I actually think this is a very good topic. I would invite you to read the Bible and learn more about us so that you too can benefit from the wisdom that is contained within its pages.

Christian or not, we are all part of the same race, Mankind. When will we learn to be open and kind, instead of defensive and cruel? And not just Christians but other people of faith as well.
