Would you happen to be homosexual? I am not trying to be cruel, but it seems that most people of this type have more female than male friends. I am not a male, so I can't tell you what guys talk about to each other, but shouldn't a topic of conversation come pretty natural, just like it would with a girl? Do you have more in common with girls? What kinds of 'guy' things do you like to do? A hobby? Maybe while participating in something you like to do you will find other guys that share the same interests and then you can start talking. Just a suggestion. Good Luck : )

I think i might suggest using the fact you have plenty of girlfriends to your advantage. I mean what do men envy more than a guy with a bunch of female friends. Sex is always easy to get but having female friends, well that is not always that simple. Not being into sports isn't a problem. I might suggest hanging out with your female friends somewhere in public that is common to encounter the type of male friends you are after. At one point in my life I had a similar problem. I would find males that enjoyed playing video games that was my solution. Anyways good luck.

I really don't know. But I have the same problem. Well i guess it is kind of different. I am a 15 year old girl and i don't have any guy friends. I hang out with girls alot, but i think i should hang out with some guys too. Since I am 15. I think that people think i still act like an elementary school kid who thinks guys have cooties. That not it. I just don't know how to talk to guys. So if you find any answers you can email me kdancergirl@yahoo.com

firstly, u do not need to do sports to know more guys. although it is true that guys love doing sports.
u can talk about what u like to do when u r free. talk about religion and about the future occupation u both would love to do.
it is true that gals are easier to tok to since gals are normaly the more sensitive and loving type. But this shows that u lack confidence in urself.
Try to step out of ur comfort zone and get bold and upfront with guys. dont let them scare u or bully u.
u can get to know more of them in ur school extra activities or society clubs or even a particular sport u are in.
Well, try to gain more confidence in urself, talk to ur gal frens about how u can be more confident and bold. ask them what they think of u and perhaps, try going out with the guys from ur class. play the computer games that are currently popular with ur male classmates so u might also have something to talk about and laugh about too.
Interaction is important in this area of making friends. But do not let guys take advantage or bully u just because u r the softer type of guy. hope u meet some realli true and sensitive frens who will show u what tru frenship is about.

Get involved in reading clubs they have both male and females that is if you like reading. Find some kind of craft that has both genders and that you would like also. Maybe some card games with both genders.
Go to church functions for the youth group. That is a good way to meet male and females who has the same interest .

What is happening to you is completely normal. Your body and brain are changing quickly, in many different ways. You getting ready to function as an adult, and adults have sexual interest. Your brain is naturally moving in that direction. As you go through these changes you will have many surprising thoughts and ideas happening to you. Some of them may be about things you believe you're not supposed to think about, or things that are against the rules. Some of them may even be scary. Some things that you're interested in now may be totally uninteresting next week. Some that aren't interesting now might be more interesting later. You may go back and forth being interested / not interested in some things. All these thoughts are normal and they are JUST THOUGHTS. They can't hurt you, and they aren't a plan for the rest of your life. It's normal for straight guys to sometimes have thoughts or fantasies about sex activity with another guy. Just because you had a thought about a sexy guy doesn't mean you have to start dating boys. Just because you thought about sex with a family member doesn't mean you have to act out that thought. Just relax and let these thoughts pass in and out of your head as you figure out the shape of your sexual interests. Nothing is set in stone. You don't need to force yourself into one of the categories of gay, bi, or straight that you've heard of so far. There are many more types of people than you know, and you don't have enough experience to come to a conclusion about yourself based on a few random thoughts and impulses. You are not distorted, you are a perfectly normal kid going through the storm of adolescence. Relax.

I was in the same boat, bud. Just be yourself...real friends will accept you for who you are. Are you involved in activities or clubs at school or in the community? That can draw you into a network of peers (male and female) with similar interests. Good luck!
