YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! i'm not sure about the age, but go. it's fun...one time...it's fun....for a solo..it's 15o bucks...5 hr. class...you will looooove it...that's at paris ca. and once in a lifetime is all it takes..just pull the right cord...tandem is not as fun...so don't do it...you drop the dime, do it with no one...you get a suit that accompanies two instructors...(handles on the suit) but you are flyin solo....they help your nerve get out of the plane..the free fall is the coolest feeling...do what you learned...it's not hard...it's fun fun funf unfufffnfnfnn!!! sorry carried away...and they usually offer discount for cert....go for it! ignore the limbless people/ they aren't real...not real! you are the lady that got your kid a tat at 13 aren't you!
oh, and they take you to 12k or 12,5k feet...it's really exciting to free fall for 15 seconds...however thermals, if light enough, could keep you up there for awhile...it's cool....i'd do it again if in the right mood.

no none of planes i have been on have come close to crashing. I have heard of kids younger than that going but i sure wouldn't let my 16 year old do that. they think at that age that nothing can happen to them they are protected. I would definatley check out any skydiving school record. better business ffa regulations and really research it before letting her go.

No. yet at this factor, leaping out of a airplane does not look basically like one in all those undesirable theory. i think of it may be relaxing. I even have extra threat getting run over by making use of a under the effect of alcohol driving force, than death from taking a sky dive.

Costs vary from club to club... do a search for sky diving on google and put in your location ... state/province... all sky diving sites should have rules and regs on there as well as email so you can find out age restrictions... rules, etc...

If you go.. have fun....
