There is so much to see you'd have to live there to get it all, well no, then you still wouldn't . I just have a warning. Hold on to your bags, mugging is a usual event, and they know that North American woman are very relaxed with their handbags. Enjoy the Bario Gotico to the fullest, but just be more cautious in the darker alleys - just for jewellery and money . I am not saying that you should restrict yourself, no way, don't do that. Just be more aware. Be careful about Taxi drivers - make sure the metre is on. Have fun!

I went to Majorca several years ago and it was wonderful since it's a big tourist spot for England a lot of the places speck some English and looking out over a yacht club that was below my hotel was a great experience. There is also other spots if you are looking for a more 'party' type vacation.

I was in the south, Malaga, Spain years ago. A very interesting man walked up to me, he was a former bull fighter and now a "welcoming committee" so to speak for visitors. He was a sweetheart and had many interesting stories about his career as a bull fighter. The city had beautiful churches and other things to see, like great leather clothing.

I wish I could'v egone to Barcelona, I hear it's pretty nice.

I don't remember a lot about it because I was so young when we lived in Europe [I was about 6-9 yrs. old] We went to Pamplona and saw the running of the bulls and went to a bullfight. It was exciting! My sister thought it was so neat when the people yelled,"Ole!" that she kept yelling "Ole!" all through the bullfight..even when the bull wasn't on the field!! We got sombreros and neckerchiefs and lots of food! Everybody ate in the stands, my mom said it was like a big picnic. I loved Spain! Hope you enjoy your trip very much! Adios!!
