You need to get your brakes checked. The noise will ge louder and louder meaning the pad on the brakes are getting thinner until you finally have metal on metal.

I'd take it to a garage and let a mechanic look at them. It may be squeaking for a number of reasons---from worn out shoes/pads to built-up brake dust.

Its probably the brake pad sensors squealing. It means you need new front brake pads.

If its a squeel then your pads need replacing. This is a safety feature when they reach about 30% so you know to replace them.
