I need to think of some activities for young children to do while they are in day care and afterschool, but the activities have to be in order of development. eg. creative development, social development, language development, physical development and cognitive (thinking) development can anyone help?

Show and tell is a good way to develop many skills at once. I have worked at a pre school now for 7 years and I know that we use a lot of different tools for developing those skills.
We have special devices that we purchase that allow them to lace beads of diffeernt sizes on pcs of rope. We have boards that they can lace like shoe lacing. Puzzles of different types and sizes.
Reading stores and asking questions such as what do you think will happen next etc.
We also have a show and tell day where the kids can bring something and talk about it and then the class gets to ask 3 questions. We also have story day where the kids can get up and tell a story if they like to.
All these things help develop language and other skills that are essential to their early development.

Have a trusted multi-lingual friend spend some time with you and your family doing multi-lingual word association with all of you. This will serve you two- fold by letting your precious youngster and the rest of your family learn a person, place or thing in both his/hers given and newfound language. Have fun!! Bye, Avoir, Aufwiedizein, Tsus, Adios, Ciao etc..etc..
