This question has been bugging me for quite a while. In my opinion, I do NOT think early pregnancies are a "good" thing. I just wanted to know what you all think about this subject. Please answer this, and put some thought into it, too.
Thanks.

When you mean early, you mean teenagers and below, right?

I think adoption is the best solution to the issue. It allows the girl to still be a kid (because she is still a kid!) and gives a lucky couple out there a child they couldn't have themselves. Many couples will even pay for her healthcare! (Just look in the classifieds in large city newspapers.)

I think girls that are under the age of consent should be required to name a father (regardless of what happens with the baby) and back it up with DNA testing. If she is jail bait.... he needs to go to jail.

I am a young mother (20and my fiance is 23). I gave birth to my oldest when I was 18 and gave birth to my youngest when I was 19. I feel that if you are in a commited relationship and can handle the presure of a child, then go for it. On the other hand, if you don;t have any idea of how to raise a child, then don't. Neither of my kids were planned, I was on birth control with both of them. Luckily, I was and am still with a man that is and was supportive. With our first he wanted me to get an abortion but I wouldnt. He supported my decision and regretted even asking me to abort after we had our daughter. The thing with us, we moved out and on our own the day I turned 18. Neither of us felt it was right to live with our parents and have a baby in the home. We have money problems just like everyone else so there are times when I'll borrow from my father, but he always gets paid back. I'm going back to work in a few weeks so that we will be able to move into a bigger place as well as save back some money so I can go to college next year. So the way I see it, if you are able to take care of your child, there's nothing wrong with becoming a young parent.

I assume you mean young teenage girls ie 14 etc, its not ideal as their bodies are still developing physically, emotionally they are still children, I suppose if they were very lucky and got an enormous amount of support from their parents ie the parents raising the baby then they wouldn't miss out on their education etc, but early as in 17 or 18 if they are in a stable relationship and feel ready to start a family and can provide for that child then why not

No way wait till you have lived life, having a baby sound terrific but its for the next 20 plus years that you need to look after the child support them with clothes, money, educ. etc. Unless you have won the lottery and have a nanny its a lot of hard work

you mean getting pregnant young? i think as long as your married and want to its a good thing.

It means you'll be younger and able to enjoy your children and grand children and great great grandchildren longer and more interactivly. Theres a reason why women are their most fertile in their teens and twenties.

But if raising children isnt your life goal then no time is a good time to have them. Because then you're too busy trying to live as much of your own life a possible, and you never really reach a point where you have enough you time.

iam 22 and pregnant, but i wanted kids as soon as i got married thre years ago.

Are you pregnant?

Well if you have a boyfriend who went to bed with you(teenager),you might get the chance of getting pregnant. But if you are really pregnant, please do not abort it! If not others will say that you are a murderer. Try to keep the baby, even your parents don't allow you to keep the baby.

it happens, nothing that you can really do to prevent it (besides a condom that doesn't always work), the best way to prevent is NOT TOT HAVE SEX EARLY:)
