I just want to know the opinions of U.S. on the American Idol winner, I really would have prefered Katharine McPhee over Taylor Hicks. How did you react?

Who cares? After Chris Daughtry was kicked off it didn't matter.

I hate American Idol. They take the worst singers in this country and parade them up on air to completely humiliate them. There has to be another way to get viewers than to make the people who suck but think they have talent embarrass themselves in front of everyone. Oh, by the way, there was some talent. The last two were very talented. I liked them both, but Taylor did win because Carrie won last year, cant have too many girls win you know.

I liked Taylor Hicks from the tryouts. I was glad to hear he won. I didn't watch the show other than the tryouts. He has talent, character and isn't just another cookie cutter winner. Good Job for him.

In the grand scheme of life and it's problems, it didn't really matter who won American Idol. I prefer to watch the first couple five or so shows, when they show the really bad people... that makes it enjoyable.

It's gonna sound like I'm lying but liked Taylor ever since the auditions, and routed for him all season. My sister (who watched it with me all season), liked Chris. I'm so glad Taylor won cause my sister always guesses correctly

I thought Chris D. should have won but Taylor was my 2nd choice. I am just glad that Katherine didnt win.

I wanted Kathryn to WIN!! you know why...she has a great voice, she's pretty and my friends and family said I look like!! and she's really nice and cool, and well taylor isnt really Idol material...i voted KATRYN, but US failed this time... taylor is more bar that stage peformer to me, and he's not cute, whta i relal ywanted to see is kat VS chris....now then I WOULDNT DECIDE...

I do not watch network TV. But I could not believe the man that looks older than my father could even get in the competition and win.
The question is, who in their right mind still watches the show and votes?

american Idol has sucked ever since William i cant Sing Hung was on there now everyone wants to be famous for not being able to sing.
