Do a "save as..." and select the power point show type (.pps). That will create a version of the presentation that will run without having to have Powerpoint on the computer. Simple e-mail that file. The person getting it will be able to run the presentation, but not edit it.

One question you've been asking is, "Where is Pack and Go in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003?" This feature has been enhanced and renamed Package for CD.
Now, when you quickly copy your presentation along with any supporting files to a disk or network location, the Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer is included by default. (That way the PowerPoint Viewer will be available to run the packaged presentations on another computer even if PowerPoint is not installed.)
Or, if you are using Microsoft Windows XP or later and have a CD burning program, you can copy the presentation and supporting files onto a CD.
If you package a Web presentation, it is copied as a Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt) file rather than as a Web (.mht) file. Only .mht files that are generated by PowerPoint are converted to .ppt format. Standard .mht files that PowerPoint doesn't generate remain .mht files.
If you choose to embed (embedded object: Information (object) contained in a source file and inserted into a destination file. Once embedded, the object becomes part of the destination file. Changes you make to the embedded object are reflected in the destination file.) TrueType fonts, keep in mind that PowerPoint cannot embed TrueType fonts that have built-in copyright restrictions. Make sure that you preview your presentation before you show it to see whether you have all the fonts that you want.
If any of the files change after you have copied them to the CD, you must repackage all of the files to a new CD.
To use Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003 for a presentation, you must have it installed on your computer. Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003 is installed by default when you use the Package for CD feature. You can also install PowerPoint Viewer 2003 directly from the Microsoft Office Online Web site.
Start Office PowerPoint Viewer in one of two ways:
If you packaged PowerPoint Viewer and one or more presentations with the Package for CD feature, in Windows Explorer, go to the folder where you installed the packaged presentation, and then double-click the PowerPoint Viewer file, Pptview.exe.
If you downloaded PowerPoint Viewer from the Web rather than installing it with your Office installation, you can open it from your Start menu. Click the Start button, point to All Programs, and then click Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003.
Locate and select the presentation you want to show.
Click Open.
Notes
Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003 does not support PowerPoint 95 or earlier file formats. Only files that are compatible with PowerPoint 97 or later can be viewed with PowerPoint Viewer 2003.
To view a presentation that is formatted for PowerPoint 95 or earlier in PowerPoint Viewer 2003, first open the presentation in PowerPoint 97 or later, and then save it in a PowerPoint 97 or later format.
To view a presentation that is formatted for PowerPoint 95 (but not earlier), you can also use Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 97. Find links to more information about downloading this viewer, and about saving earlier files in later formats, in the See Also section, which is visible when you are connected to the Internet.

Easy question to anwer, I don't know what's with all that text above.
In power point, go to >> file>> save as >> then change the save as type as a power point show (.pps)
Now when the user clicks on the file.pps - it is only the show.
