Are those big, chunky beaded necklaces still cool, or is that trend over?

I live in a smaller city, so if I wear one in L.A. this summer, will I look tired?

They remain a hot trend right now. But you need to be careful what you pair them with if you want to be fashionable. I still wear them with the romantic-victorian blouses/shirts, or over tunics with a wide belt.
Don't forget the oversized handbags if you are going to L.A. ;)

OMG no! don't listen to that person up above ( the first comment)! seriously they are in! you will look cute! but don't wear them just because they are "in". have your own style. you shouldn't care about what people think about you because if the only reason they like or dislike you for the clothes you wear then they aren't people at all!

they're still in but what's better is long, skinny beaded neclaces, with a white dress and a small heel or dressy flipflop. But yeah, Those r still cool.
