Any stories to go with It?

I use to believe it but know I don't. I believe that people can change as they get older. I cheated on my man 2 times and over the years I have grown and I don't want to go down that road again. You have all this sickness out there and not to mention how the other person is felling. If you really look at everything, Its not worth it.

That is such a bigoted and unforgiving statement. And no I obviously don't believe in it for a second. It's very easy for people to sit in their ivory towers and pass judgment of those of have lived their lives and made mistakes, or at least what they perceive to be mistakes.

I myself have never cheated, but does that mean that I think once a cheater always a cheater? No. Because I know that one day I could be in that situation and I'd be a fool to say "no matter how 'in love' I am with this other person I wouldn't cheat to be with them. Because nothing is absolute and you can't know what it's like until you are in that situation yourself.

But all that aside, just where did this "Once a cheater, always a cheater," crap come from anyway? I used to bite my nails,...I don't bite my nails anymore. I used to pull people up on little mistakes,...I don't do that anymore. So why is it that if I cheat once in my life, that I'm doomed to always be a cheater? Don't I have a say in the matter? Looking at the world with black and white childishness may be easy, but that doesn't make it smart...it certainly doesn't make it right. Take into account the circumstances and make your own decision, but don't boil it down to stupid narrow minded statements like "Once a cheater, always a cheater."

Best wishes.

I totally believe in it. If a person is a scumbag and cheats on someone who trusts and loves them, they usually do it again.

Yes. Those who cheat, cheat because they are never satisfied. It takes way too much to make them happy or feel complete; therefore they cheat.
