hurt one another. what should i say to get him to trust me again?

ask him why he doesn't trust you. seek first to understand then to be understood. listen to what he says without reacting he may have a point. once you know why he doesn't trust you you can think of ways to make him trust you again and that may involve asking him outright "now that i understand, how can i regain your trust?".

I recommend that you wait until everyone has cooled off, then sit down and see if you 2 can start rebuilding. If yes then go from there if no then I urge you to sit back and wait until you feel like getting another BF. And if you feel like getting one right away than maybe just maybe you did not have it for him all, and that could be the real reason you 2 broke up. But whatever you do take a break and relax.

it doesnt matter what u say-u really need to earn the trust back, but then again, u say u both said things to hurt each other so he has to earn ur trust again 2!
try telling him that u regret what was said and that u hadnt meant to say all the bitchy nasty things....but its sometimes the only way women know how to be!! blame ur self...men love that! but point out that he was also wrong and also said nasty stuff to u, but ur willing to be adult enough to put it out of ur mnd and 4 u2 to get on with life together!?
but....it does mean that u cant throw the arguement back in his face everytime he does something that bugs u...u do need to just 4get what was said in the arguement and move on with ur lives together
on the other hand, if he keps umming & ahhing, making u upset or practically beg 4 a second chance-tell him to sling his hook, cos he isnt worth it!!! good luck

I don't think this is about trust. He's just really hurt. You shouldn't say things when you are angry but if he said things too he needs to just man-up and except your apology.

I would just tell him the truth...or how you feel...just be honest with him and If he still doesnt trust you then you probably did something that makes you not trustworthy.

you just need to talk face to face, you cant just say something and make him trust you, just talking to him should work...
