Mine is a toss up between Ray Liota as Henry Hill (Goodfellas), Al Pacino as Michael Corrleone (Godfather Trilogy) or Joe Pesci and Robert DeNiro in anything! Best director Martin Scorsese...

Bricktop was indeed very scary in Snatch ... The glasses were an excellent prop too (as were the pigs).
George Raft was very good in the original Scarface. That film was so well shot for its time and quite scary!

my vote is: Al Pacino as Tony Montana (SCARFACE)!
why? he's the best all around bad guy! he came from nothing and made it to the top... of course, he's a homicidal, drug lord but, we all have our flaws! am i right?!

Marlon Brando as the original Don Corleone in The Godfather. Not as flashy as the others, the man earned his right to be the head of the family and he garned a level of respect that Michael could never have reached. On that same vein, lets give due credit to DeNiro for playing the young Vito in The Godfather II. An excellent character overall!

You probably don't remember, but George Raft was the scariest gangster of my time. Now Al Pacino or James Gandolfini of the Sopranos.

Robert DeNiro in Godfather II. He took an impossible task (portraying Brando as a younger man after Brando's superb performance in GF I) and pulled it off. It's his best acting ever.

I think that DeNiro as Al Capone in the Untouchables was an awesome performance. I really liked it a lot. DeNiro was born to play that role.

Al Pacino as Micheal Corleone, because he played it so convincingly you believed he was the Godfather. Great.
