The spoken word is always backed up with tone emotion attitude..... which makes it so powerful. But the written word can allow a person to truly express themselves without being too blocked or overwhelmed by emotion.
The written word can be just if not more impacting than the spoken word... ! Personally i would rather hear my boyfriend while looking in to my eyes and tell me how much he loves me than constantly getting texts or love letters and not being able to express anything when we see each other.

it also depends what type of communicator you are... are you a writer or talker. it's what works best for you individually.

in writing, it shows how serious the situation is and plus if you make a copy hou have proof of what you said.

reading requires concentration,likewise you can be distracted while talking.So reading i chose
