In www.mugglenet.com (a harry potter website) if you get into the "Mugglenet Galleries", you'll find a newspaper page that says that, when J.K. Rowling went to register the sixth book's name (Half Blood Prince), she registered also two names: "Harry Potter and the Parseltonge Trophy" and "Harry Potter and the Great Revelation", and, there were also two registered names, registered a few years before those two: "Harry Potter and the Hogsmeade Tomb", and "Harry Potter and the Battle for Hogwarts".
J.K.R's publicist said that she did register those names, but that she hasn't given the real name, so we shouldn't listen to this things too intently.... I find it interesting, even though those names don't sound very convincing for the LAST Harry Potter book, do they???

J.K Rowling keeps surprising us. There's no end to her imagination even for the titles. Maybe something like Harry Potter and the Horcruxes, or The Dark Lord's Soul, or The Final War, or The Three Friends (Harry, Ron, Hermione), or The True Prophecy, or The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts or something absolutely different. I'm very anxious to read the whole book, not just the title!

Hmm... what an interesting question. What is the name of the seventh Harry Potter book? Well, no one on here could possibly have a clue, only the brilliant JKR. We can theorize all we want about this issue, but I for one would like to be surprised with what she comes up with. Of course, John Noe of The Leaky Cauldron fansite (http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/ ) has prclaimed it to be called, "Harry Potter and the Hunt for the Horcri" (Horcri being plural of Horcrux) We'll just have to wait and see.

j.k rowling is an absolute genius. ranks up there with einstein, no doubt. i mean seriously search online for the thousands of theories people have for her books, and all the intertwined plots, and how basically every descriptive sentence in her book has a definite purpose. and of course, credits to the movie producers because they found such hotties for the movie =)
heck, who knows what the title will be.
