Desperation? They needed food, were strung out and needed drugs or needed money for food and/bills.

Obviously they didn't know the person they robbed is broke...so that person was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

They can't tell if the person is broke. So as far as they are concerned, if they are broke, the other person is not. So they proceed with the robbery.

Because they are probaly broker than the person than they try to rob.

hey i was thinking that myself. its wrong and stupid. why would someone rob a broke person. they dont have anything good right?

Their porpose is just ROBBING, they don't care if you are broke or not. So, take care for yourself, whoever you are !
