It will depend on your city in GA.
For example while almost no one in Atlanta that mows has one, in Atlanta to be legal you would need a city licence
In many cities ( lets say Baxley GA) town of maybe 3000, I doubt that they have a city licnece requirement
A person should have libiltiy insurance, if you have workers working for you , also workers comp insurance. You would want a Federal employers ID number ( tax number) and insurance on your mowing equipment and trailer ( since homeowners no longer cover it once it is used for business

You do in Florida. Go to the county offices and get an occupational license. It is approximately $25, I think. Good luck in your new business.

My mothers and fathers moved my ping pong table under the massive ash tree interior the back backyard. That tree replace into completely symetrical above each and every person's head on the exterior bbq's. in case you utilize the goats to graze down each and all of the over-boost, yeah....they eat each and every thing in attain, yet they eat each and every thing and poop at the same time as doing all of it. Everyone in Indiana does this for a profession, and no one has a license, they just go about their business and make the money. I dont see why they would have you have a license, cause you didnt have to go to school for it. Most businesses have a license cause they had to go to school for it.

Depends on how legit you want your business to be. To be completely legit, you do need a license because you will need to be insured since you are working on someone elses property.
