I am going to a wedding in a week. One of my co-workers is the one getting married. Well I went to get a dress for the occasion, when the co-worker saw it, she seemed mad at me for some reason. And then out of no where, her friend comes up to me saying that, the dress I picked out is not suitable for the occasion, and it made me look like a trashy whore. And that she doesn't want me to getting most of the attention at HER wedding.
Now let me ask you ladies, is this dress a good choice for the wedding? Please be honest.

the dress is fine, and even great for the evening, but for the chruch u might want to buy a one of those white sweaters that go to about the elbow and just cover shoulders, that way u look modest and gorgeous at the same time.
and its her wedding, if she wants all the attention by all means let her have it, but if u look good, u deserve some attention too!!!

I don't think the dress would make the wearer look like "a trashy whore," but I also don't think it's suitable for a wedding. What you wear at a wedding should be formal, but also respectful. This is not your homecoming dance. I suggest finding something a bit more modest.

Its a lovely dress.. and it sounds like someone is jealous although you can not help it. i don't think it would be a problem if the bride thinks that you will stand her up at her own wedding. what worry has it got to you. She'll be married its not like she is single. I say go for it whats the worst that could happen......not talk to you or no be a friend either way she Probably ain't worth it.

If you really like your dress and you don't want to offend your coworker then go by a matching jacket. Jackets are sweet and they make sure that you aren't that showy. I have to admit it is a lovely dress but it is a little showy. So yes i highly suggest a Jacket. Not a big dress coat but a small one that can be long sleeved but not hot at the same time. You'll love (hopefully):)

I think it is a really cute dress and I think that maybe you should wear a shall of some kind over your shoulders during the ceremony and then for the reception take it off and wear that dress like you own the room. Thats all clothes are anyways right?!?! Pieces of you! :)

that is a beautiful dress! She might be jealous of you cause if you can wear that dress and look good in it then you must have a great figure. She is being foolish and selfish, I would wear that dress anyway, it is too nice to go to waste

It seems a little low cut for a wedding. Generally speaking, no one should outshine the bride. Isn't that why bridesmaids dresses are usually so hideous?

This dress would not be suitable if it was simply just more elegant, but, it looks perfectly well, when you said trashy whore i thought i would see a transparent dress with a black dot covering your niples! lol... maybe someone is just jealous... but, if I were you I would try to avoid any problems with my coworker, you do have to see her everyday, and i would choose a diferent dres.. but hey thats just me!

It depends how it fits you, and what color. It's a nice dress, but it could look a little trashy if you're spilling out in the front. I wouldn't do the green. . .maybe in black it would be nice. Maybe bring a sweater?

baby girl this dress seems to be absolutely fabulous to me...however like you i suffer from the hatred of other women...as long as you present yourself as a decent lady and mind your manners you should be free to wear whatever(or nothing at all) if it pleases you...it seems very appropriate for a summer wedding...let them eat their hearts out just be proper....work it out honey!work it out! have a great time
