And don't forget that the New England Patriots don't play in 5 of their 6 "home" states. New England is comprised of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. They only play in Massachusetts.

The question is wrong. There are 3 NFL teams that don't play their games in their home state: the Giants, the Jets and the Redskins (of course, no state is appropriate for a team representing Washington, DC)

The Jets and Giants play in New Jersey. But they are building a new stadium in New York so it is a short time before this is no longer true.
