I know He's real!

Jesus is an allegory, a composite of a number of ideas regarding the ideal man, which ideas are borrowed from other, older traditions than Christianity. That does not automatically mean that the messages that are attempted through the invocation of this mythical being are not valid and valuable. Were those messages understood and imparted properly, it would not be necessary to invoke a mythical being such as Jesus. The messages are really quite simple: they're guidelines aimed at teaching human beings to get along together. The most important phrase in the Bible is "do unto others as you'd like them to do unto you". All the rest is commentary.

First off, anyone who doesn't realize that he existed is just ignorant. All religions state that he existed. Most (including Jews and Islam) just think of him as just a good man and a prophet, but not the son of God.

I do think he is the Christ, the son of the Living God. There were over 300 prophecies in the old Testament and he is the only person to ever fulfill them all. In fact, a stastician calculated that for a man to fulfill just 8 of them that were out of his control (like the time of his birth, his birth place, his betrayal, his death, not having a single bone broken, etc.) was 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000.

To get an idea of this, cover the entire state of Texas with silver dollars two feet deep and all face up. Then take one random one and place an X under it and through it into the state some where. Lastly take someone up in an airplane, blindfold them, have them parachute out over the state, and finally reach down and pick up the correct one.

There is no reason to think that Jesus was not real at one time, like Mohammad and Buddha. I believe he was a prophet and an enlightened teacher. I think that he was so gifted, in fact, that people who were exposed to his teachings came to believe that he was the Messiah and/or the Son of God.
Do I think that Jesus "is" real? No. He died two thousand years ago.

Nein, Jesus ist während einer sehr langen Zeit tot gewesen.

However, Jesus was a man recorded in history. Whether he was a miracle maker or just a regular man is up to the Christians to keep b.itching about for another two millenia.

Everything is relative, that picture of Jesus Christianity created would be unreal, sometimes surreal, sometimes simply ridiculous, although Man described in a Bible historically very likely did exist.

Yes.
And I think the most important phrase in the Bible is "I am the LORD your God. You shall not have strange gods before me". That pretty much sums up the basis of Judeo-Christian thought.
Also, by 'real' do you mean:
An actual historical figure?
God?
The Son of God?
A prophet?
Need a little more context in order to answer more fully.

NO I dont think he is real, I guess people just think that someone out there is responsible for everything so why not think its this 'fictional character'

I think people believe in him so strongly that it doesn't really matter. Real or fictional, he has the power to keep billions of people behaving themselves!
