I'm expecting around January 15 and the father is really acting stupid so my mother said lets do a DNA and child support..

Child support is based on the income of the person paying it. I hope for your child's sake that you and the father can start to be civil to one another- this is child not a dog. Your baby deserves to grow up in a peacefull environment- not growing up listening to you shouting over the phone at him and bad talking him, etc. Your baby didn't ask to be conceived and you and your baby's daddy have the responsibility to raise a productive member of society.

In WI it's 17% of the fathers income (for the first child)

Hey I'm in that boat my mom gets 200 a month for child support not that that is what he is supposed to pay. He is supposed to pay 500 a month so it is based on how much money he makes a month.

It depends on how much money he makes. Also how much you make. That is where the judge comes up with an average.Also certain states have requirements. It could range from 40 a month to 1000.00 or more a month.

careful he may go like take the child from u, and it depens what state you are and ur income ect for how much you may get
