My daughter has told me as well as my family that she has disowned me because my husband are reconciled?

we split up because they was some domestic violence issues going on (he did not beat me but there was verbal abuse and him breaking things) as a result i went to jail and we split up and he went to live with his sister but now he is coming home on 7/1 and my daughter is serious why can't she just accept me for who i am i understand that her and my family are just looking out for me but to never talk to me becauseof who i am with by the way my daughter is almost 18 and is moving out with her father, i know all the things that went on when he was here before more than anyone and i know all about abuse but this is my decision and we are going to work even harder

it sounds to me like your daughter is acting on "tuff love"...she loves you ..and is in fear for you...and maybe she has seen and knows things that you dont...or refuse to see..either way...she has made up her mind...

seems to me ..going back to an abusive relationship..either verbal ..mental or physical...you may be the one who needs help...are you afraid to be alone...or afraid you wont find anyone else...or is this the life you lived when you were younger and is all you know...i dunno know love...

its just.....you had a chance to get out of that relationship ...and your choosing to go back...with that said...ummmm...what is that old cliche'....."you made your bed ..now lie in it!!!"

Yeah, that's what every daughter should have as a role model....a mother that gets out of a domestic violence relationship, and goes back to it. Would you want her to be in that sort of relationship? Good for your daughter for standing up to you and voicing her opinion, and if she disowns you, more power to her. She's a very intelligent girl, by the sound of it.
