If you have, do you see any attempt to question some of the basic premises of how the administration explained the tragic events of that day? The very title of the report presumes who's responsible without even examining all the evidence. Again, you can do a google search on the 40+ anamolies that remain unexplained and ignored.
The report can be found at http://www.9-11commission.gov/report/911Report.pdf .

Yes, I have read it thoroughly. Out of nearly 600 pages, only the first 45 or so address the events of 911. The rest assume all of the premises and babble about what to change, without holding anyone accountable. The explanation of what happened is a mirror image of what the Bush admin. publicized hours and days after 911.
Some might think this is a pure whitewash.

You see the deaf and blind that doggedly support the Republicans will now call you anti-American and a Bush hater, anything but look at the raw facts and rationally examine what may or may not have occurred. I cannot wait for the Democrats to take over the Senate so that proper investigations can be convened, and when the Presidency changes hands, fireworks will really go off. Patience.

I am ashamed to say I haven't read it. But I usually keep my mind open about people's honesty or lack of. The problem is we have a government of "checks-and-balances", and all we see is political back and forth between democrat-republican. Why aren't the citizens demanding a check and balance of the facts? If some people are, why isn't getting done? Why is the only semi-analysis done an alarmist movie? They're too busy thinking about the next election, or being outraged about Ann Coulter, or selling the idea of the new Iraq.
Yes our military tactics, strategies and intelligence must be kept fiercely secret. But the facts of past attacks, threats etc. must be analyzed, discussed and responded to. Good or bad.

I've read it, and you're right - after the first 45-50 oages, the rest is just filler. I agree that there are a lot of unexplained things that occurred that day, but to think that someone who can't even pull off a planned attack properly planned this is beyond belief.
What did you expect from a government publication, honest answers to all your questions? Never happen.

Well I've read the report before but when I saw this question I can honestly say that I am not sure of Bush's 911 explanation in order to compare it to the report.

This was a commission that the administration opposed until the public demanded it. Bush hand picked its members, didn't allow them full access to government information and would only talk to them for 1 hour. The questions had to be submitted in advance AND Dick Cheney HAD to be present ( in case George tried to "wing it")
The commission was never intended to get to the truth. It was just a way to quiet the masses while they prepared for the attack on Iraq.

Did you see who was on the Commission? Tom Kean is an egotistical partisan hack who never saw a camera he did not like. He reveled in the attention. The report was your usual government sponsored garbage.
Watch the video clips. We all know what happend on 9-11.

I have read so much it boggles the mind!
I am sure we will have to wait 40-50 years to have a partial release of information, just like the Kennedy assassination.

Please don't question the government. They are only trying to control oil, I mean control freedom for our country.
Sarcasm aside, the report is amazing. To bad the media is too lazy to report the truth on these bozo's in the White House.
