Go to the Internet Move Database http://www.imdb.com/ , Browse, Films & More, Films by Year (or go to http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Years/ ). Choose "list of movies only" after you select a year. Warning: There will be a lot more movies than you can see in the theater. I am not sure how to better filter these; you could try "list by total votes" but that doesn't give you all of them.
