I have been told that I am a good looking guy but I am shy around women.Any help?

People can sense if someone they meet is seeking a partner, and this is usually unattractive. The key is to avoid trying to find a partner and just focus on things you are passionate about, whilst meeting as many people as you can. Don't expect anything, aim to just have a good time talking to people of both genders and making friends. Then it is much more likely that someone will be attracted to you and it will happen unexpectedly. It may take time so try not to have expectations. Most girls are attracted to guys who are independent, driven, and have passions in life. Focus on getting a girlfriend and you will come across as needy and you may attract negativity, if anything at all.

It takes time for some people to be open. Maybe it will help if try your best to just think of a girl as a friend and talk normal to her. There are many people who are shy with the oppsite sex. So its hard for some people to come out of their shell of shyness. I know how it is to be shy. But I try my very best not to be. So try your best not to be and act like yourself. The same way you act around your friends. Try to do your best. Its hard at first but then in time it gets easyer. Hope I helped a little. Have a nice day.

Remember that looks are NOT everything. You'll probably find that if you are friends with a girl, you can break down those shy barriers, you can be yourself. I suggest that you make some friend-girls, and these friend-girls will probably eventually girlfriends. All the guys I've dated have all been guy-friends, so give that a shot.

I think shy guys are kind of cute! Just act the same around girls as you do other guys. Be yourself.

Just say whatever you feel, and don't be shy. Just make sure that you don't get too overbearing, but come out of you shell a little bit. Good Luck!

You don't need a girlfriend, you want a girlfriend. Big difference. You will have to find some way to get over your shyness, join a group or something.
