Ask her.

She is projecting how she feels about herself on you and that is just plain wrong! She wishes that she had lost weight and probably thinks that by making you feel ashamed of how you look you will do what she was not able to do herself. Your mom either needs to get help or get a life. Talk to a counselor at your school about her. I bet she will back off when others start approaching her about her bad parenting habits!

Cos she's a nasty biatch. My aunt does the same thing with her 17yr old daughter, tells her she's fat, when in reality my aunt is WAY fatter, and my aunt stopped talking to her own mother cos her mum used to call her fat all the time. Maybe your grandma used to call your mum fat all the time, so now she's in a destructive cycle and dragging you down with her. Tell her to buy a mirror and leave you the **** alone.

Because she probably does not want you ending ^ like her it may sound harsh and mean but look @ it from her point of view and if you still feel bad about what she is doing just sit her down oneday ask her why? and tell her it may be already hurting by knowing that you are( I don't wanna say fat) but Big and it does not help but her telling you if u already know and u just probably need her support!!!

could be a number of reasons. she could see you going down the same path as her growing up and not want you to have to go through it. maybe it was tough for her growing up and shes just scared of you going through kids teasing and all the stuff that comes from being different. as long as you are happy with who you are and what you look like, i would tell her that. let her know that its very hurtful for her to tell you that. if you do feel you are a little on the chunky side, offer to diet and exercise with her. then at least you can both have goals to drop the extra pounds and make your relationship stronger. good luck to you.

Perhaps she is trying to spare you what she has gone through in her life...ridicule. If there is a way to loose wieght and come into normal guide lines, your life will be so much better, you won't believe it. No matter who tells you what, overweight people suffer great bias in the work place, romance, .... in all aspect of life. Good luck

Because she knows she is overweight, and she hates it, and doesn't want you to go through the same pain that she feels. But she's going about telling you this in a completely wrong way....

She has low self esteem and is used to feeling like that and thinks that is how you are supposed to feel . She doesnt' understand that she is screwing up your head or just doesn't care because she doesnt want you to look better than her. Tick her off! Get in shape! And say " Later!"

She doesn't want you to be like her and she thinks hirting your feelings is going to help you to lose weight. She knows how bad it feels to be fat and don't want to to go thru the same thing. She is rude and doesn't know any better.
