Tropical zones receive sunlight for the whole year. These places, therefore, are very hot, with lot of rainfall. The weather is hot and humid. This region is found near, and on, the equator. Summers and winters are warm, due to a lot of sunlight.

Sub- Tropical are found above and below the Tropical region. Here the temperature is lower than in the tropical region and consequently, the rainfall is lower. But it still receives adequate amount of sunlight both in summer and in winter, and the climate doesn't change much in these seasons.

Temperate zones are above and below the sub- tropical region. They receive sunlight during the summers and very less sunlight during winters. Thus, summers are warm and winters very cool. The rainfall is less.

I hope this is all you wanted to know.
