I'm ready for a President of either party who treats the citizens of the United States like intelligent people instead of manipulating, lying and trying to scare them into submission. I hope that's not asking for too much.

The 10 points should go to Becki C. Why anyone would want to vote for someone, based solely on party influence, is beyond me. I think everyone should wait and hear what the candidates have to say about the issues at hand. The world could be a very different place in 2008, you never know.

I'm ready for a change too but there is no one I will vote for on either side , One is as bad as the other . Nobody seems to have the integrity , honesty and forthrightness for the Presidency .
We need a person that will put the American people first , not side with large Corporations . Is there anyone out there that fits that definition .

Although I don't agree with everything Bush has done I believe the Democrats put us in the position we are today they had knowledge of plans to destroy the towers and they did nothing about it they also did nothing in retaliation of the first bombings of the towers in 1993. Although Clinton assisted in the economy growth during his reign but he made a mockery of the oval office and the democrats make this country weaker by depleting the military. And yes I served eight years in the army from 94-02 and was deployed twice.

Get our country back, from who?
I am more afraid of how the Democrats will further pick the pockets of those who finance this great country. The Dems are so simple-minded and have never understood how to manage tax policy. They will kill the goose that lays the golden eggs before they realize the idiocy of their ways. The "tax and spend" label has been pinned on the Dems for good reason.
Govt. does not generate jobs and create wealth, people do.

Yes, I am ready, but can we make it till 2008? I am not sure we can, given what Bush is doing. I certainly hope the American public will wise up and vote intelligently in 2008. If they don't this country is sunk...and I am not being a drama queen, just telling it like it is.

Change! That has to be the weakest platform I've ever heard. Here's the deal, we have a coalition government now. How about we try ACTUAL GOP control as opposed to the NOMINAL control they have now before we decide if they should be replaced? Until a single party has the White house and both houses of Congress, including at least 60 seats in the Senate, no one party has control. We HAD DEMOCRAT control already, now we have coalition control. Whaddya' say we step up to GOP control and see what happens?

What do you mean get the country back. Last I checked the Republicans are pushing to keep our country. It was never lost. It is the republicans lowering taxes focusing on international relations. Democrates think our country should focus on the American people first. Sorry to bust some people's bubble, but if we became hermets we would dissolve. It is imparative that the U.S. keep fighting to keep our country as a world power. The day we loss the world power is the day the world celebrates.

Race and gender are meaningless to me, the skill to accomplish the interest properly is all that concerns. concerning gender, its no longer that we arent open to a girl president, its basically that Hillary isn't the female this united states might earnings from as a president. Had it no longer been for Shrub and his rampant deceptive if this united states, neither Obama nor Hildabeast might additionally be in attention for the place of work of the presidency. concerning race, Obama wont win besides even although having a president of shade might coach anybody can gain their dream in an fairly unfastened united states. Hillary might make a greater physically powerful secretary of state than a president. we want the two events to produce actual persons of integrity/ Ones that have the skill to motivate co-operation of the two events interior the residing house and senate to artwork at the same time as a team in fixing subjects. Polarizing subjects into republican or democratic labels purely delays progression and ensures a no one wins result. Its time for the folk to win and have an efficient and respected government because of the fact the prize all of us proportion in.

No. Bush hasn't been a very good president but I hate to think what this country would be like if Gore or, that communist, Kerry won office. I'm just glad I'm not the President, especially in these times.
