Heaven is a place on earth!

A parsec is the distance light travels in one year. It takes about 9 minutes for light to travel to the earth from the sun. The closest star is about 5 parsecs away. We actually can not measure the distance of stars from beyond about 35 parsecs.

it must be determined how many stars are closer than 35 parsecs and then the distribution of them in distances. Then plot that as a normal distribution continuing the curve for the approximate number of stars. Note the Bible says that in the end the stars will fall to the earth, so they are limited. at the end of the curve we would have the end of the universe.

But currently Astrophysicists would disagree with this estimate of size of the universe. 100 parsecs seems to far to me, but it is a possibility.

Also nothing can leave this universe by our means, a space ship can only travel within fields of the known space time continuum.

Heaven is just around the corner. It would take years to reach however since if you referring to the imaginary heaven then one can reach there only after death and death may be years away. But once one dies the soul may reach it in a winks time because soul travel faster than ones imagination.
But if you know the secret of how to be as happy as in heaven even during ones life time then you have to create conditions conducive for that.and then you can have heaven at your home itself and nay you can carry it wherever you go even.
If you know the art of living, unpreturbed by external disturbances then you have the heaven day in and day out .
The great Tamil saint APPAR was put into the burning lime kiln by the king for religious persecution but the saint sung in praise of Lord and described that the LORDS FEET WAS AS COOL AS EVENING MOON, AS PLEASANT TO HEAR THE DIVINE MUSIC OF THE LORD, AS COOL AS A POOL WITH LOTUS etc etc and he never felt the heat.
The moment you think of the feet of the LORD there you have the heaven.

In one sense it is the farthest place away from earth since it exists outside of Creation. In another sense it is very near but in a different dimension than the four that we are aware of.

Acts 17:22-28 So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: "Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. 23 For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, 'To the unknown god.' What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. 26 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, 27 that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28 for "'In him we live and move and have our being'; as even some of your own poets have said, "'For we are indeed his offspring.'

One of my favorite songs! Just keep on prayin' and keep on livin'.

Heaven
by Salvador

Save me from this prison, Lord, help me to get away
cause only You can save me now, from this misery
now I've been lost in my own place,
and I'm getting weary, how far is heaven
and I know I need to change
my ways of livin', How far is heaven
Lord, can You tell me

I've been locked up way to long
in this crazy world, how far is heaven
I'll just keep on prayin' Lord
just keep on livin', how far is heaven
yeah Lord, can You tell me, how far is heaven
cause I just got to know, how far is heaven
I just got to know, how far

Tu que estas en alto cielo
Hechame tu bendicion

'Cause I know that there's a better place
Than this place I'm livin', how far is heaven
and I just got to have some faith
and just keep on living, how far is heaven
Lord can you tell me, how far is heaven
cause I just gotta know, how far is heaven
yeah Lord, can You tell me, how far is heaven
I just gotta know how far, yeah I just gotta know how far

There is no distance to Heaven or Hell. We can make our place a heaven or hell. It's up to us.
