You need to get to a doctor if you haven't already. Is the discomfort coming from something like swollen ankles? You really shouldn't have that yet, not at 2 months. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

you didn't mention WHERE it was uncomfortable, but yeah it's all part of the joys of pregnancy...

it's your ligaments stretching. you'll find that they'll go through your abdomen and feel like they make you want to bend over. it hurts worse when you sneeze or cough. it's round ligament pain... the muscles and ligaments that support your uterus are stretching out to support it as it grows. the pain is normal, and as long as it's not severe it's nothing to be concerned about. although still mention it to your doctor at your next appointment.

in the beginning i had it and didn't know what it was, i also had hip pain that made it painful to walk... and let me tell you i'm almost 5 months now and it hasn't gotten any better! but it's just the ligaments loosening up and slowly preparing for childbirth.

sometimes a warm bath helps. also laying down helps too. and sometimes nothing helps and you just gotta tough it out.

I know there is already pressure at that point, so most likely that is all your are experiencing. I started to pee a little when I sneezed at 2 months. Weird huh? It's not the baby is huge or anything, but the obstetrician said it was normal. If you want reassurance, call your nurse. They are used to these kinds of questions.

You should also get that book "What to Expect When You're Expecting". It goes month by month and I found it very helpful.

When I was pregnant with my first I had mild pains in my pelvic region. I would say it's normal but I don't know the severity of it for you so your best bet is to consult your doctor.

Most likely it is your body changing but you can never be "Too Safe" when it comes to your children. Your baby became your child the moment he/she was conceived. You should check it out with your Doctor. Good Luck, God Bless and Congratulations!

I had problems in my hip and lower back, my baby was pushing on the sciatic nerve, it hurt so bad that I would have to sit down. I even had to get physical therapy on it to help the pain.
