Playwrites have been known to even pay for their first one or two plays to be produced. That is the key-it does not matter how good your first play is, you will not strike a lucrative deal. You will have to have at least three plays produced before you will make money from future plays. Maybe reserve that perfect one for number 4?

Depends on wether or not you are good, Some play writers still live in poverty, The same as artist, cause that is what they are.

Well, I can't really say, at all. It depends on not only how prices are set, but how much money you make.
