Your question was answered, but I thought that I would add that you can buy pure mint oil spray for pest control. No nasty chemicals. You just spray around perimeter of building, etc. I got some at local hardware store. Try it. It it pretty intense if you spray a lot, so keep windows open. Also will need to repeat after smell wears off a number of weeks later if spiders still hang out in your home. Scary! Hope this helps. (Stay away from pesticides in your home, there is a strong link to cancer and pesticides!)

Go to your local health food grocery. Most sell every kind of plant oil. However, it won't keep spiders away. Try citronella oil instead (in the essential oil/aromatherapy section not cooking section with the coconut oil).

i live in the tropics there are tons of coconut oil all over, we used them for every things you can think of, the only thing it can't do is keeping spiders away, so who is the nut who told you this, if you're still not convinced, try the grocery store or the supermarket at any of the chinatown, the last thing you want to do is to manufacture your own
