Italy have always started slow but this year they won from Ghana and tied with U.S meaning they have done better than the other years.
Argentina have showed the world that they are a very good team and it would not surprise anyone if they win the world cup.

Argentina is definitely one of the best this year; people keep saying that they've only faced "easy" teams so far and they're wrong. Cote d'Ivoire put up a major fight, and wasn't the Serbian defense the one that no one could get through in the qualifying stage? I wouldn't be surprised at all if Argentina wins this year.
As for Italy...well, I was rooting for them and to tell you the truth, I was disappointed. Sure, they could turn out brilliant in the next few rounds, and then we'll see just how awesome the Azzuri get.

I don't feel that Italy's result against the USA was particularly good,but if they can maintain their discipline better they have a chance... Argentina looked to be in scary form, and will be a huge danger to any team they face, but just because you win a group match well, doesn't always mean you'll win the tournament... in 1954 Hungary hammered West Germany in the group stages, met them again in the final, went 2-0 up and still lost 3-2! You can never know in football!

I say Argentina. They look strong in every aspect of the game.
On the other hand...Italy lack speed. Also the Italian team always have one or two dirty/cheap players that make the entire team look bad.

Argentina is good but we will have to wait to see how good is Italy after their performance against the USA-Brazil is THE TEAM TO BEAT.

They're both good, but i think Brazil has more skill than both of them
