I was a student at Champlain College in Lennoxville, Quebec , Canada. One day, in the library I was asked by a fellow student, a Chinese Female Student a most intriguing question.
She showed me a list of words in French and asked me:
How can you tell if the word is female or male gender.
In French, a table is female and a desk is male.
