There is a difference between being a person and being human.
I think humanity´s greatest flaw is its wish to live like ¨rhinos¨. They all wish to belong to the same big group , to justify their mistakes because of their condition of just being gray animals, they wish to not be alone or different. What I mean is that everyone says ¨I made a mistake because it´s human to err.¨ while no one says ¨I made a mistake because I just wasn´t good enough.¨. And what happens to all the people who love to think differently or to just be different but end up like the rest of the ignorant bunch, just because of some silly fear of being alone, misunderstood or not in their gang?
That´s humanity´s greatest flaw, the desire to be a ¨rhino¨ like everyone else. Take Nazi Germany for example: Hitler started off, then he had friends, then he had a country all abiding by the same stupidity, and today we still do that.
We do not dare to be people, to be our own selves because it´s so much easier to be human (or was it ¨rhino¨?).

Humanity's greatest flaw is its egoism. It seems like everyone wants to either "be" God or, at the very least, try and give an excellent impersonation of Him. Look at the Muslim militants. They believe Allah is telling them to kill Americans. Look at Bush; he believes that by killing innocent people he's fighting for a greater good, he's fighting for God.

ALTRUISM! Followed by any form of religion. These faith based tribal savage throngs are the root of all evil. When we raise ourselves to rational self intrest (Selfish) and understand that it is a virtue, the evil will vanish. No rational morality can be had unless the individuals life and rights are at the top. From there, each of us in a society has the right to earn, trade and save what we wish by right. with out this, we have some form of socialism, that eventually leads to destruction and sacrifice of the able to the mooches. In this way, the politics of collectivism and the alrtuistic religions cause the same result, making victoms out of the able, sacrificed to scoundrels!
Thank you.

Humanity's greatest flaw is ego/egotism. If not for this flaw there would be no desire for power and control over others.

Sin!
this is inherent in us, as kind David said "in sin did my mother conceive me". this is the greatest flaw that we have been passing on from generation to generation.
the root cause for all misery, pain, drudgery, atrocities, etc currently visible to the naked eye. but then there is a Way out, a Way that will lead to all redemption, alas we have been blinded by our own deceitfullness and lusts of this world, hence we fail to understand the greatest Truth that was told almost 2000 years ago. pray, we accept the Truth unconditionally before its late.

Jealousy, Adam and Eve ate the fruit off the tree because they wanted to see good and evil. wars have been caused by nations' jealousy, one wanting the other's land, wealth, power, etc. All of the commandments are caused by jealousy. People steal because they're jealous of the rich people's stuff, but they can't afford. People don't honor their mother and father because they're jealous of their power and authority

Greed or selfishness. The attitude of "it's all about me", I have to have it all and who cares who I step on or beat down on the way to get there. If more of the people up at the top would just reach down and lend a hand to those at the bottom the world would be a much more peaceful, beautiful place to live.

Pride, and rebellion has always been the greatest flaw. The angel of light led 1/3 of the angels into darkness wiith him to become demons, due to this flaw.
