When you create passwords, some web sites require that you use a combination of letters, numbers, and upper- and lowercase letters. Uppercase is using the shift key with the letter. In order words, uppercase "a" is "A" ... lower case "a" is "a". You won't ever have upper case numbers, but the shift of a number is using the shift key with the number. For example, shift + 2 is "@" ...shift + 3 is "#" etc.

Remember exactly what the password is. Otherwise, if you type in a lowercase letter when it's supposed to an uppercase letter (or vice versa), you won't be able to log in. Hope this helps!!

An "A" is an 'Uppercase" letter and an "a" is a lowercase letter.
Some sites pay attention to this and others don't. The site is letting you know that these are three different passwords, not one: PassWord, password, PaSsWoRd.

Uppers are capital letters and lowercase are non-capital letters. This refers to manual typewriters (and some electrics) when capitals involved shifting the entire letter group up. I am sure most of you out there have never typed on a manual typewriter.

THESE ARE UPPER - these are lower - passwords are case sensitive - which means if you used upper when creating the password, it will only be recognized in the same manner
