Besides watering you should nip off the seed pods that are left behind when a flower falls off. This will keep your fuchsia blooming all summer. I have several of them on my patio every summer, and I've learned from experience that they do need a little TLC, if you want them to look beautiful all season long.
They also tend to attract humming birds if you keep them blooming heavily.
Good luck.

I pretty much do nothing with my plants. I don't even water them. I let the weather take care of them and my bushes are growing like a weed! They are so beautiful too!

water everyday (keep soil moist) but allow to drain freely. Keep in the shade...evening sun is okay, other than that, these pretty little earing plants (my grandmother used to call them that) can't be in the sun.

I would favor morning sun over evening, deadhead it and fertilize once a week with dilute liquid fertilizer or fish fertilizer.
