By the time you reach 18, no-----16, you will have met so many other boys this guy will be a distant memory. Don't let him get you upset. It's bad news and it hurts, but you are young and will get over it. Concentrate on making yourself a better person and the "right" guy will come along. Just keep livin', it'll happen.

Well if he likes someone else then he really didn't truly like you enough to be a successfully relationship, but if you like him just go and tell him, and tell how you didn't know he liked you.. Your very young and I'm afraid you will get hurt by love a lot more as life gos on...
But here's a few tips so in the future you can tell by the body language if he likes you or not..
Examine his body language. If he likes you, you will see that his body position will lean forward toward you.
Keep close. Ever get the feeling that somebody is "in" your personal space - so much so that you want to step back? If he likes you and you like him, neither of you will step back.
Make eye contact - if he likes you, he'll get it and hold it. Again, this can be uncomfortable if you don't like him or vice versa.
You'll know if you feel like you have held eye contact just a fraction of a second longer than you would with anyone else, or if he looks away quickly.
Be aware of touching - he might put his hand on your arm when he laughs, or not move his leg if it happens to touch yours. This is a very good sign that he likes you.
Keep an eye out. His pupils will dilate (get bigger) if he likes you - but this is quite hard to pick up on and you might look a bit weird looking that closely into his eyes.
See if he keeps going out of his way to 'bump' into you.
Watch for him showing interest in things you like and do.
Joke freely. Does he laugh even if you aren't funny?
Check for signs of nervousness: nervous laughter, sweaty palms, fidgeting...
Smile. A big smile in return probably means the feeling is mutual.
See if he always end up in the same line or group as you.
GOOD LUCK :)

Heres a song for you:
Where Are You Now
Love
My love
I regret the day you went away
I was too young
To understand my love
But now I realize my mistakes
CHORUS:
Where
Where are you now
Now that I'm ready to
Ready to love you the way you loved me then
Where are you now
Do you still think of me
Or does your heart belong to someone else's
Love
Oh my love
Wonder sometimes were you just a dream
I sit in the dark
Wondering if our paths
Will ever cross again
Oh lord I need to know
I sit and wonder
CHORUS
If I close my eyes
And make a wish
When they open will you be right here with me
Where are you now
Now that I'm ready to
Ready to love you the way you loved me then
Could it be
That two people
Were meant to be
In my dreams
That's what I feel
Or could it be that I'll never see you again
My love that was so true
Still I'll sit here waiting all alone
By the phone for you
Now I understand
(now I understand)
When you said I love you
I sit and wonder
CHORUS (2x)

Having gone through this many times,I can tell you. If he liked you that much to begin with,he probably hasn't totally gotten over you so tell him how you feel and take it from there. Also, don't expect to start a relationship right away, sometimes it's best, even when you both like each other to continue being friends for awhile just to make sure that you really like them and it wasn't just a crush.

No
Your going through stages..this is one of them.
Actually what happens is your stuck in a wondering-what-would-have- happened scenario.
You missed a chance, but you shouldnt look back, theres no gain it it for you now.
Look ahead, find someone else and NEVER take back anybody that didnt quite fit with you.

This really sounds like puppy love, that's what it's called when people your age think it's love.Wait a while as you mature you'll find out the real thing when it comes to guys and love.

Yeah it happens a lot, I think you should go tell him how you feel =] i know that sounds kinda like psychologist-ish but it will help if he knows that you actually DO like him, maybe he'll change his mind about that other girl ;) good luck!

It is obvious that he did not share the interest as strongly as you did. Telling him may give him the idea that you are begging for his attention and a certain amount of control.
