I'm still having problems with not having a compose box to write in!!! in which I mean I don't have a writing box to write in my message for an email!!! can somebody PLEASE help me!!! I would REALLY appreciate it dearly!!!!! I can't write emails b/c I don't have a box to write them in!!! PLEASE HELP ME I'M DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry guys, that I was being so vauge... it's just that this is the 10th time I wrote this question down and no one answered me!!! I'm SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and last time I wrote everything down!!! that it's yahoo and it's the email sending box that's missing!!! it's been gone since... well since I signed up to this joint!!! You're having a problem with graphics. Our computer is the same way. It doesn't display backgrounds etc. Then I lost my compose box in yahoo. You have to edit your options and option out of using graphics. Opt for plain text and your compose box will come back, I promise. Yahoo mail help will help you with this.
This is from their help page:
"I can ’t compose, reply, or forward messages.
That takes all the fun out of email, doesn't it. Let's fix it!
Here's how:
Click the "Options" link in the upper right of your Mail page.
On the Options page, in the "Management" column, click on "General Preferences".
Find the "Composing E-mails" section, "Mode:", and choose "Compose messages as plain text".
Scroll to the bottom and click the "Save" button.
Now try it. Can you Compose, Reply to a message or Forward?
If so, great! We're done. But if you're still having trouble Composing, Replying to a message or Forwarding, please click 'Contact Us' below, because we would like to resolve this and get your account working properly as quickly as possible.
Include your Yahoo! ID, and list each step you have already taken. Thanks!"

get a yahoo.com mail box it is easy just get a new e mail address from yahoo.com. Mine that came with the enternet company didn't work either. None of it worked
After getting yahoo. it comes across the top, click on compose and your ready to go. Used every since it works great.
But you will probably only fix it with a new E mail address.

My Yahoo account was doing that to me yesterday and it also did it about 3 weeks ago. Try rebooting your computer. This last time it didn't straighten itself up until late last night

Make a new email account or you also try deleting all your saved emails. Try contacting yahoo for help.

I would love to help if I was more computer literate. When I have a problem with mine I call Dell, where I bought it. You might try calling the place you bought yours or at least some dealership if you bought it second hand.

Until you get it fixed, respond to an email you have received then change address and delete message. A temporay fix
